Bath Blitz Memorial Project
Bath Blitz Memorial Project
Unlike other cathedral cities, Bath has no memorial to the city's sufferings and bravery during the Second World War.

Sadly, it won't be long before there is no one left who remembers the sacrifices the city made to help bring about the post-war world we take for granted.

The Bath Blitz Memorial Project was founded to ensure that Bath's role in World War II is not forgotten.

The all-volunteer group's mission is to create an appropriate memorial to those who died in the Bath Blitz, as well as to those who lived through it.

The group's plans include a museum to educate Bath's residents and international visitors (especially children) about its wartime experiences, combining displays of everyday objects with oral histories of eyewitness survivors.
