The Club's 2009 season officially got under way at the Recreation Ground on Saturday 28th March. The courts looked in excellent condition, and members enjoyed a mixture of Golf and Association Croquet.
Bath Croquet Club is a member of the South West Feberation of Croquet Clubs and competes in four different leagues.
The Parkstone Qualifier is played under Advanced Rules. The Federation League is Handicap play for players below 16 handicap. The Intermediate League is for handicaps 9 to 18 and the B League is for players between 16 and 24 handicap. The League table can be found on the link below.
Bath's Parkstone Trophy Qualifying Team of Roger Hayes (captain), Jim Field, Andrew Willis and Nigel Amos sealed promotion to the Parkstone Trophy for the 2010 season with a comprehensive 6-1 victory away at Bristol on Saturday 25th July. This was the team's 4th win out of 4 this season and marks Bath's first return to the top division since relegation in 2007.

Cheltenham too strong in 6-1 Mary Rose Away defeat
Bath's Mary Rose team of Daniel Mills (captain), Andrew Willis, Peter Miles and Nigel Amos suffered a crushing 6-1 defeat away to Cheltenham on Sunday 9th August. Cheltenham fielding a team which included two players with handicaps of 1 proved too strong for Bath and Peter Miles managed the team's only victory of the day.

Mary Rose 4-3 win over Nottingham
Bath beat Nottingham 4-3 in a closely fought contest played on neutral ground at Cheltenham on Sunday 12th July. The final deciding match between Dennis Graham (Bath) and Gordon Hopewell (Nottingham) did not finish until 7-45pm!
Earlier in the day Peter Miles was the star performer for Bath winning his morning singles +23, and also his afternoon match after being pegged out by David Brydon (Nottingham). Miles was rewarded with a handicap reduction to 4.5.
In the morning Ian Lewis and Dennis Graham (Bath) won the doubles by 5 points after a 5 hour marathon with Lewis playing an excellent last turn. Bath will now play Cheltenham in the next round.
